2013~ Another year.
Hello 2013! A brand new year, and I have decided to change my blog link too! A little more personalise with my full name! LOL! Stayed tune yo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My New Year Eve this year, I get to have a wonderful steamboat session at the CC!! How this thing came about is when the whining woman starts whining to Janice about the misfortune not to be able to join in for the division retreat previously. Same for Janice herself, whose on course on that retreat day. Being very understand how dying the whining woman likes to have a big feast, she promised the whining woman to have a buffet/steamboat for her.
True enough, it came true!! Frankly speaking, she's the first who really moved me when she initiated it. Can see her effort, especially today when we were doing the shopping!! Thank you Janice!! ^^ made my wish came true, I really like the food! Eh!! Not forgetting my beloved caretaker who always take care of our meals once in a while! :) Of course, we invited hazel, Brindha and Katherine!! ^^ thank you for spending time to have a steamboat session with us! It was a little rush for them, but I hope they have enjoyed it. Didn't know most of them are fans of 舞狮排猪肉圆! Lol! They really loved it! And through this session, I know kat totally don't eat fish sia. What nonsense! HA! It was a good gathering during our last day of 2012! Indeed, it was well spent! Let's also invite Yvonne too! Lol, she always want to join us! Hee!

My colleague's committee was having a New Year Countdown in CC, which means he has to stay late at night!! However, the rain came as well to celebrate which result in the flooding of the hall! Not only the hall, even the canal beside our CC is overflowing!!! To the extend you cant even see the canal's shell! LOL!
I was quite excited for the flood to come in! HAHAHA! Because I heard from my colleagues saying our office did flood once before afew years ago! WOOO! I want to experience it as well!! I have been telling my colleague's committee members to prepare a float using the balloons they have! HA! Jk~ But it was to the extent we were quite panicking~~ Especially when the rain get heavier.. And, history can repeat again! Another thing is that, they prefer fire to come instead of the water. HA!
It was still raining even after 6pm, thanks to my unfriendly colleague, I'm kind of wet lor. And still can come criticise me for not being patient!! Oi! Very bad!
It's time to meet Emily & Huimin at MBS! We were supposed to meet at 7pm, and I was on time. Guess what, I waited 45 minutes for them!! NO JOKE HOR. WALAU. And I even whatsapp them to send me pictures as well, I'm not greedy to have them all. I asked them just one or two. Jitao no reply lor, I think I need to wait for 45 DAYS! So forget about it. I decide to go on without them, apologise that it will turn out quite lengthy!! Oops.
Emily has made a reservation to have our dinner at Au Chocolat at MBS! It was quite a open concept restaurant~~ It's kind of small, smaller than their confectionery store!
Blame on myself for drinking too much coffee, my stomach was freaky bloated!! And I couldnt take in cold drink, therefore I ordered a hot soup.. Not that hot though, but it was nice!! It's mushroom soup! ^^
We waited quite long for our main dish, and we suspected the long wait is due to the waiting of ALL the dishes to be ready and served it together... I ordered the 'safest' dish, FISH & CHIP! Because the rest of the dish doesnt seems to be in 'big' portion! LOL! Cause I was hungry, so.. yea~ LOL! But it was a brillant idea, because.. the fries they gave are ALOT! I'm serious, it's ALOT!
It come in with interesting display! HA! The fish taste very fresh, the outer crisp was very crispy. Doesnt really feel very greasy even after finishing 2 slices!! OH! The salad is very special!! Their dressing is not those thousand island dressing, but is their signature ingredient!! CHOCOLATE! Taste quite refreshing~!
Totally cant finish the huge amount of fries, we gave up and called for our dessert! I order NYCx4! 4 mini cakes! It's all cheesecakes! Chocolate, plain, walnuts & caramel! DAMN NICE!~~
Emily was saying all of us were mad to call for a dessert each! LOL! When we can just share, but we were too carried away with the good food that we just want to try one each! HAHA!
We stayed there for around 2 hours? I think. It was 10pm+, and the crowd is growing inside MBS. We didnt know it's worse when we were outside MBS. LOL! People already standby at their spot, and basically it becomes so squeezy then.. Lots of blangah were there!!! Ever since the gang rape case in New Delhi, I was very very turned off by them. Especially when one of them still can show his hand out to emily!!! Damn annoying! Cause it overflowing with them, we decided to go buy countdown tickets @ Marina Float.. But as we were walking over, we found a good spot along the pathway beside YOG Park! LOL! So we hang around there, we were quite afraid that the sky will pour at the last 7 minutes!
Guess what, thankfully it only drizzle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO! 8 minutes of firework were right in our eyes! ^^ Happy new year! :D
After that we decided to watch a midnight movie, however there wasnt much choice at Marina GV. So we headed to Cineleisure, Parental Guidance at 2am! We thought we got more than enough time to slack when we reached there, no~~! We spent most of our time getting to the MRT from Marina! LOL!
The show was quite nice and joke! It was cool! HAHAHAHA! After the movie, it's 4am+... Home sweet home after taking the cab! WEEEE~~~ Happy new year everyone!
